| Grab some popcorn.
Well, the story goes like this-- I bought a 1995 Buick Riviera in 2005 for $3,500. It was green with the tan interior. It was going to be my daily driver while I built my 2000 GTP up.
I did a water pump, and a few other things to it and found out some bad news. This bad news was that I could not lower the car. It already had one strike against it with the tan interior. I ended up finding a 1999 GTP for $2,800. I sold the Riv for what I paid for her, and moved on.
Fast forward to June of last year. I blew the tranny out of the 1999, (how weird) and had to quit on the build of the 2000 so I could start driving it again.
Blah, blah, blah, and we're up to now and I can't afford the car payment on the GTP while I'm still in school. So I start looking around for a cheap DD. Low and behold my old Riviera is for sale. I bought it back for $800! 90,XXX miles on her now.
I sold the GTP yesterday, *tear*.
But now on to what I'm going to be doing with the Riviera. So far I have sanded it down, got the metal straight and have it in primer.
Tomorrow I will be shooting her in flat black. The stock wheels are already flat black.
I'm tinting the windows with 15%, spray tinting the taillight and all of the marker lamps.
Throwing a new down pipe on it, (exhaust leak) and putting a single muffler into a y at the end with two slashed tips behind the rear wheels.
Then throwing the intrax STS springs on her, and calling it quits.
I'll have pictures up as progress is made.

| I am a painter/fabricator so it won't be my first time spraying. Ha.
On a side note, does anyone have any pictures of a slammed Riv? I couldn't seem to find one. Thanks. | |

| Here's a few pictures: I only have one picture so far, I still need to throw a few more coats on . I was going to paint it black with a flat clear for a nice deep flat black, but I am just single stage flat blacking it for right now as I have to buy the paint. I'll be able to shoot it for free when I go back to school in a month. ^These two are from when I first owned the car, after I did a 10 hour scuff and buff on her. ^Here's the ugly tan interior, I took everything out and steamed the carpets, and cleaned every square inch of the interior. ^And here's my 2000 GTP I just sold. | |
