| welcome. take a look around especialy at the FAQ, most Q's should be addressed somewhere but don't hesitate to ask. most of use have seen/heard it all and dont mind answering questions so long as it isnt alread covered elsewhere. sell the "air s/c" ( ) and gut the air box, you will be much better off for performance, gas mileage and durability. so where are you going to put the fog lihgts and did you get the caddy STB? _________________ 1996 with 254k miles, L32 4" FWI -> ported N* -> Ported Gen V w/3.0" Pulley, Stage 3 Phenolic I/C, ZZP FMHE, 1.84 RR, Headers and 3" pipe to mufflers, F-body brakes, and lowered on Eibachs. -RIP AMG C400 White on black. that's where i have mine. it seems like the only logical place to put them and they need to be pretty flat to fit in there. i wanted to put them more outward but i couldnt due to mounting and space issues | |

If you havent put this in DON'T!!! I have read many website articles, heard and read many testimonials and saw a whole news segment on how bad these are and how they either have no effect and more often a worse effect on performance/air flow/gas mileage. Sell it on ebay. But nice ride, and can't wait to hear about the mods.

I hate these things the only thing that worked was that tornado i tried it on my moms car and it worked OK the only reason i know it gave a little more HP is because my dad has a GTECH gadget that measures HP so the cavalier got MAYBE 1.5 HP out of the deal LOL

| Keep in mind there a LOT of other things that add/reduce HP, such as air temp, humidity, gas, engine temp, KR, battery voltage, and with a GTech, even the road surface.
Unless you did a repeatable experiment with NO changed variables, I can't believe there is any benefit to using these things. Heck, I can take my car to a dyno tomorrow, then do absolutely nothing and retest in a week and see a 1.5HP gain, _________________ '05 GTO 6.0L • 6-spd • 95k miles • 0-60: 4.8s • 16.9 avg MPG • Nelson Ledges Lap: 1:26'95 Celica GT 2.2L • 5-spd • 165k miles • 0-60: yes'98 SC Riviera • 281k miles • 298 HP/370 TQ • 0-60: 5.79s • ET: 13.97 @ 99.28 • 4087 lb • 20.1 avg MPG • Nelson Ledges Lap: 1:30 3.4" pulley • AL104 plugs • 180º t-stat • FWI w/K&N • 1.9:1 rockers • OR pushrods • LS6 valve springs • SLP headers • ZZP fuel rails KYB GR2 struts • MaxAir shocks • Addco sway bars • UMI bushings • GM STB • Enkei 18" EV5s w/ Dunlop DZ101s • F-body calipers EBC bluestuff/Hawk HP plus • SS lines • Brembo slotted discs • DHP tuned • Aeroforce • Hidden Hitch^^^ SOLD ^^^ '70 Ninety-Eight Holiday Coupe 455cid • 116k miles^^^ SOLD ^^^
