A few pic sof my 97 SC Riv - What color is this?

I suck at photography but here we go! I'm gonna try to add some HID shots in the next few days.











Anyone know the color name of the car? Almost a light silver/blue. Also, I'm trying to identify the rims or atleast the brand so I can get some new center caps. This is a 97 with 181k on it.

For some reason my drivers seat looks dirty. It's actually very clean!

Man, get that drink out of the cup holder when you take pics! lol, I notice when people take pictures of the inside of their car they usually leave big cups/bottles somewhere. Personally, I don't even put that crap in my car at all.

When I first looked at your rims I thought they were Aurora rims or something. What size are they? They look like they could've came with the Riv. Nice looking Riv though!

LOL @ the drink comment. I went to snap it and was thinking whether or not I should take it out but decided not to.

Those wheels ar e16" I believe. It looks like an A on the center cap though. I think they look great paired with the Riv!

manofmany, I can't tell from your pics, but if this is what your paint looks like then it is Light Adriatic Blue Metallic paint, and congratulations on having one of the sexiest colors known to the 8th gen. Riviera!!!

It looks VERY similar to that second pic. Mine MAY be a tad lighter i'm not sure. My 6k HIDs match it very closely. Looks brilliant at night!

Could it just be silver? Check your VIN to know for sure.

Looks like it could be #17 or #30 or #36?
I don't have color chips handy so that would be my best guess?

It's not just silver. It has a faint blue to it. Very very light blue. I can't believe there were so many color choices!

Sorry to sound noobish, but where is the VIN breakdown? I thought I saw it on here somewhere before but I can't find it now. I'd like to determine exactly what kind of white my Riv is.

You could check the SERVICE PARTS IDENTIFICATION tag in the trunk.

The number circled in RED is the paint code:



On my '95 the tag is stuck on the underside of the spare tire cover, on my '99 it is stuck on the inside of the right quarter panel, you have to remove some of the trunk lining to see it.

This tag is the only way to tell for sure what color your car is!

U301D is the code.

Paintscratch.com indicates that that code is for Silvermist Metallic, but the sample they display doesn't look like your car.

Silvermist Metallic sounds like the color of your car, though. Paintscratch warns not to go by their dispay samples, so I bet that sample is in error. There's nothing silver about it.
