| Is there a structural shape that designated this body the 'G' or was it just in the lineup sequence alphabetically?

Is GM still using a letter-named body on some newer cars or are they all now the Greek letter platforms.

| G is the chassis/under platform and includes at least Riv, Park Ave, STS, Aurora and Bonneville | |
