I went to Autozone today and found the vents you bought. I didn't grab them right away, I wanted to see you car again and make a decision. They look longer in the package than how they appear on the car. The carbon fiber inside would not look good at all so if I did but them I'd have to pick up a silver paint pen too,

I got them last week and i put them on my car...........it looks nice to me........when i get my rims, I think its going to look awesome!

I got them, I am just curious to the placement. Any measurement guides out there. I parked next to a Park Ave Ultra today and they appeared to be 3" from the top and separated 1" from each other. Before I apply them I want to get the right figures.

Functional in what sense? IIRC the fender area right in front of the door doesn't open directly into the engine bay.

It would be awesome if they were functional though - maybe dump enough heat to reduce KR by a degree. That would be worthwhile.

No, and they never did except when Ned Nickles rigged them to light up per cylinders firing... if you call that functional.

lmao........i just put mines on.......no measurement or nothing.......lol.......i was at the car wash and when i was done washing my car i put them on.......lol

There was a guy on regalgs.org who said the portholes did originally open up directly into the engine bay, but the design had to be changed because of vandalism.

Must've been before they invented mesh screen.
