Yea i can't start this thing. Put the key in, turn, i get all the lights ans instruments on, fuel pump and everything sounds, turn to start and NOTHING. This is the 3rd time this happened. The first time, it just started working about in about a minute. The second time, I messed with a lot of stuff and got nothing until i lowered the steering wheel height, then it worked again. Now i tried that little trick that worked before and i didn't work. The batt/connections are fine, no blown fuses. I am thinking its the ingnition switch / lock cylinder type deal but i really dont know. any ideas please

Sounds like it's in the column somewhere. From your description I'm thinking it's mechanical, would check out that lock cylinder first.

Update
I just used a wire and and connected the R and main terminals on the starter and it starts fine, runs for about 3sec and shuts off

This is making me think it has something to do with this a/m remote start thing now

Could be a pass-key problem. I had that on my '92 once, had to replace the lock cylinder. There are ways around that to though, putting the correct resistor in the system will do the same thing.
