Will this a/c compressor work w/ my car?

I have a 95 s/c riviera. My a/c compressor is bad. Car still runs but mechanic says its only a matter of time before compressor falls out. He suggests I get a new one w/ a warranty over a refurbished one. He says it would cost me around $1000 for parts and labor which i do not have. He said look on ebay and I may be able to find a used one for a couple hundred. I found this new one for a couple hundred, however, before I order it I want to make sure its the right one for my car. it states it will work for the 95 riv. and the seller's got a good rep.

i had my a/c completely replaced on my 96. the compressor, condensor and evaporator. was about $1300.
wish I knew then what I know now. Would have done it myself.

I need one to but I aint Paying 220 bucks for something that i dont even use
