Ok guys what the trick for geting the compressor out. What up with the hidden bolts. So help from someone would be great. dunno

So anyone know how to take off the ac compressor? I tried but cant get to all the bolts, what am i missing. Help me please....

did you remove the refrigerant already, and the refrigerant hoses? Compressor is held on by 1 bolt and 3 nuts on studs that are permanent in the compressor mount.

I think the reason for the silence is that on these cars you can get the compressor mount off without removing the refrigerant or hoses - you take off the compressor mounting bolts then the compressor mounting bracket retaining bolts; then take off the mounting bracket. You have to support the compressor so it does not hang only by the hoses.

So the point is, it's hard to understand why you're having such problems with it, but I'm not there to look at it either.

There are 3 compressor mounting nuts, and one rear compressor mounting bolt. There are no hidden bolts as it were, just studs that are in the bracket and nuts on the compressor behind the pulley holding onto those bolts.
