| I tried to find a write-up on installing a new PCM in my 98 RIV. Do you have to take the whole dash out?
Is there a write-up with pics for replacing the PCM? | |

| No, you do not have to remove dash for PCM swap. It is located behind glovebox. It is much easier to gain access to it if you remove about 5 or 6 screws that hold glovebox and trim piece under glove box. Then the PCM is staring at you. The large electrical connector is held on by one small bolt, Remove that and the PCM comes out of the clips that hold it in. | |

Then the PCM is staring at you. The large electrical connector is held on by one small bolt, Remove that and the PCM comes out of the clips that hold it in. Make sure that you disconnect the battery first. _________________ 1998 Supercharged Riviera - Custom CAI, Alpine spx-13ref, Infinity 6x9's, Alpine 4 Channel Amp, Kicker KX3, Silverstars, STB, Hawk Brake Pads, Monroe Air Shocks, KYB GR2
