I am really desperately hoping that I can find some sort of cat-back kit for my car, I am not a man of 100% custom exhaust (all raw parts). mainly lookin for a system that is a direct bolt on

AFAIK there is no cat-back made for our cars. An exhaust shop should easily be able to make a custom cat back for you, to your specs, for a couple hundred. It's a real simple design, striaight back the middle to a Y to the mufflers... Shop around a bit if you don't like the first price you find.
Intense and ZZP sell cat-backs for W-bodys, i.e. GP, Regal, Impala. Not G-bodys.

ok so I contacted an exhaust and repair shop and I was wondering should I go with the resonator or without, I don't want to have it, but will I need it to avoid being pulled over cuz I love loud and nasty exhaust

You should be okay without the resonator. Personally I hate the sound it makes without, but it doesn't get that much louder.

I'd get a glasspack or some kind of resonator. Just my opinion, though.
What's beautiful about the Riviera exhaust is that the dual exits allow you to have it free flowing AND quiet. On my Regal, I had a custom cat back fabbed up, and used a glasspack - and it was still loud, but that was because of the muffler I used.

the corsa #14150 is pretty much a bolt on. It would require very little tweaking to fit. It will set you back over a grand though. Money that would be better spent elsewhere from a performance point of view.
W-body exhausts won't even come close to fitting. Don't waste your time or money.

Jason - first and foremost - congrats on your upcoming marriage.
Second - do you know anyone who's used the Corsa 14150? When I looked it up on line I could not tell what's included.
It looks like one would have to trim a little from the bottom of the rear bumper with a Dremel - but I am not at all sure.
Also - I wonder if others offer a Corsa-like resonator/muffler set that a local shop could weld together, or if the Corsa cans ara available for local fabrication.
Last thing - an editorial comment - markup on mufflers and such is *unbelievable* - we end up paying multiples of what those things cost. Albertj

-thanks -no. I was going to buy a used one online, but it went over $600 US, so I didn't. The main advantage would be to use the mandrel bent "Y" and main pipe. It's surprisingly hard to find a T or Y pipe that fits. I didn't, even after looking through several catalogs. So I used mandrel bends and made a single 3" pipe.
