Nice. That SPL is a monster. Remember the "Mule"?

I like it, reminds me of back in the day when you found good equipment that actually lasted.

Theres one on Craigs list around me somewhere... Theres an SPL 160 15 sub on E pay also.

The 170 was their best sub though wink

Its a beast for back in the day. mediocre by todays terms. Not enough XMAX. Not even close...

Right, but it's still nice gear to have - like classic cars. I'm still rocking two RF Punch 40i DSMs, bridged, each sending ~105W RMS to each of my front channels in the other car.

I read an article in Car Stereo Review from late '90s - they put the Mule in free air config. It played flat to 12 Hz in car, I think it made over 120 dB at that point. Impressive for a single 12".

But what I'd really like to have one of these days is a pair of these (orginal 10" Pros w/ underhung coil):

New System 36109

Or these (Audiomobile MASS 10", by TC sounds, I believe):

I had a set of the 10" PPI Pros.

IMO they sucked. My JLs were FAR better.

I actually have a Punch 40 on the way, I think...
