OK, the tires have about 200 miles on them and now I have an "internal engine" problem. ARGH. It sounds like valve tap, but I'm being told it's fatal. Anyone knowledgeable about this noise? I'll try to get an .mp3 of it and post it in the next couple days.

Could be your idler pulley. Not sure of what sound you're hearing, but I thought I had some major issues when I first heard mine going out.
