| msd ignition coils are "supposed" to be a performance option. with that said, dont waste your money. lots of 10 second L67's on stock coils and wires. definitely not a weak point in our motors. i'm sure there are some motors that gain a little power from larger/better wires and coil packs, but i would be very surprised if you got any gains from them on our cars. _________________ 1996 with 254k miles, L32 4" FWI -> ported N* -> Ported Gen V w/3.0" Pulley, Stage 3 Phenolic I/C, ZZP FMHE, 1.84 RR, Headers and 3" pipe to mufflers, F-body brakes, and lowered on Eibachs. -RIP AMG C400 White on black. | The stock L67 coils have been proven to be more than powerful enough for even heavily modified motors. If yours are in good working condition keep em! | |

| I've heard it time and time again, on here and on RegalGS.org - the ruling is in, stick with the stock ones. I've even read threads where the person's coil packs/wires failed and they needed to replace them, and it was recommended that they replace them with stock parts instead of aftermarket. | |

| I've paid extra for "premium" spark plugs before, and have never noticed any difference worth the money. | |

| I'd guess that swapping out new wires, plugs, and coils made a little difference - because they were new compared to used. You could replace with stock equipment and expect the same results. _________________ '05 GTO 6.0L • 6-spd • 95k miles • 0-60: 4.8s • 16.9 avg MPG • Nelson Ledges Lap: 1:26'95 Celica GT 2.2L • 5-spd • 165k miles • 0-60: yes'98 SC Riviera • 281k miles • 298 HP/370 TQ • 0-60: 5.79s • ET: 13.97 @ 99.28 • 4087 lb • 20.1 avg MPG • Nelson Ledges Lap: 1:30 3.4" pulley • AL104 plugs • 180º t-stat • FWI w/K&N • 1.9:1 rockers • OR pushrods • LS6 valve springs • SLP headers • ZZP fuel rails KYB GR2 struts • MaxAir shocks • Addco sway bars • UMI bushings • GM STB • Enkei 18" EV5s w/ Dunlop DZ101s • F-body calipers EBC bluestuff/Hawk HP plus • SS lines • Brembo slotted discs • DHP tuned • Aeroforce • Hidden Hitch^^^ SOLD ^^^ '70 Ninety-Eight Holiday Coupe 455cid • 116k miles^^^ SOLD ^^^ | |
