I really like the black accented interior. I really brings the Riv up to date with current trends and it looks very fresh.

You have me thinkin of doing the same! Looks so sweet! I also have the tan interior... wasn't sure what to do with it? My parents had a small dog that would ride with them and put its paws on the panel in front of the stereo, leaving scratches in that rubbery coating. Ill post picks after she comes home. any way you've got me thinkin about that matte black! or possible doing it in tan or black suede. thanks for the pics!

Too much paint falling off the roof and a paint job is not in the budget so I took the liberty to put Hammered Bronze on the roof! Temporary rattle can job that looks good from afar! Did the grill and center caps as well!

Nice Job! I like that you taped the paint line off so it matches up with the rear window.

That's a rattle can, Samuel? No blobs, no runs, no total screw-ups--amazing work. Ever thought of teaching a class on how to do it right? Expiring minds want to know.

Ooooo I like the look of how that top was done as well! The grille pretty well ties it in and the wheels are very nice!

Apart from watching a few good youtube videos on how to paint a car, the trick is to sand your ^$*%$% off and tape well. I took off 90% of the paint that was there. I used the Yellow Painters tape. I want to paint the Rocker Apron, just not sure how to prep it!

Looks great! I have had similar results from rattle cans - it's all about the prep work!

I did something similar, but not with rattle cans and in Galaxy Silver, in tribute to the Silver Arrow!

Had some time today to shine up the Whip! Got two much nicer seats off a guy who smashed his 96! Covered the armrest with some Ostrich skin! (simulated of course!) Got the Boost gauge in the door and did a custom R on the Center Caps! Hope ya all like!

-yes, that's the tiny thing I zeroed in on haha Everything else is lookin really slick man. Especially diggin the black top and interior panels. Sort of reminiscent of that two-tone challenger look from back in the day

Chrome rings are the chrome accent stuff from Auto Zone flipped inside out and measured carefully! Glad you like it!

Btw, not to be a pain in the rear but, any chance we could get a closeup of those?

This is when I first did it before I painted the dash. I put the seems on the bottom for the bigger gauges and to the right for the little guys. I worked the chrome inside out for a few minutes so I wouldn't have to fight it. Cut BIGGER first then trim to size. I used a guitar pick as a backer so I wouldn't cut the dash.

Went and got that trim and got it in per your instructional help and it looks good! Mind you, not as good as yours with the twotone interior, but it definitely adds some pizazz. Thanks again very much!
