l2 read the thread I2? read the thread? you are going to do this or what? The answer to your question, or more specifically the response to it is in the thread. I don't think you understand how ignition works if you think you will gain horsepower with plug wires.

| I think his point was that if there was no horsepower gains there was little reason to pay the premium on these wires.
Edit: I should say for him. I'm not trying to debate the value or deny the quality of the wires.

after driving my car for 10 minutes with these, VS stock with 15k miles, i would never go back to using stock wires in anything.

If you're going to make a statement like that, you need to explain the reasons, in detail. Otherwise it has no meaning at all. What do you think was "better" about your driving experience with your new wires?

If you're going to make a statement like that, you need to explain the reasons, in detail. Otherwise it has no meaning at all. What do you think was "better" about your driving experience with your new wires? You just have to experience it. It just seemed more consistent. Maybe my stockers were on the way out. I know i've said you don't gain power with plug wires, so i'm not going to start making that claim, but it certainly felt like it was scrambling along noticeably faster. i know what a car sounds and feels like when you're loosing spark, and it wasn't that . I would say the car feels more consistent, preforming more towards its high end. Some pulls use to feel different with stock wires, some times it felt like it was faster than others.

| how about donating a set to one of the heavier modded members cars, or give them a set half off, and have them personally test them out? if they give the OK, then its all a GO... | |

| I'm sorry, I'm not in the habit of giving strangers 130$.
People seem to think we're some how making money of these.
I don't care what you run in your car.

| I would say Hellfish's car is heavily modded.
I fail to see how us taking a substantial financial loss to give one person with a "heavily modded" car a set of wires will benefit anyone except that one person, especially when we are not making a profit on these and that one person's approval would not guarantee any more sets purchased than with out it.
If you want the best plug wires, get in on the group buy with us. If you need permission from someone with a more heavily modded car before buying mods, well... don't hold your breath.

| And so this thread's been quiet for a month.
Wonder if Chris and Hellfish have any updates.
I will admit I've run my Magnecor KV80s about 100,000 miles. so far, with no problems.

| Recent update on RegalGS looks like they are getting close to ordering, but the #'s on that thread looks like they are still short several sets, though it may not quite be up to date.
I'm happy as hell for them if they can do this, despite weak demand.

I'm happy as hell for them if they can do this, despite weak demand. not to mention weak rationale. Delco OE wires for the Riv are good. Magnecor wires are very good. Albertj
