| sorry, last ones; here are 2 shots after an acrylic wax (Klasse AIO and glaze). very shiny but not much depth. white paint is hard to make reflective. _________________ 1996 with 254k miles, L32 4" FWI -> ported N* -> Ported Gen V w/3.0" Pulley, Stage 3 Phenolic I/C, ZZP FMHE, 1.84 RR, Headers and 3" pipe to mufflers, F-body brakes, and lowered on Eibachs. -RIP AMG C400 White on black. | Looks good The alternators are a pain, I took mine off sanded it smooth and polished it on a cloth wheel with rouge bars. It was a lot shinier when I first did it, bare aluminum fades quickly How much of a mark does the STB leave in the hood liner? | |

| Very nice Matthew. I think you'll do just fine in the show. You have a damn good looking ride. How did you clean your alternator and is that an amp cord on the driver's side floor? | |

| thanks guys! the cord is for my scanner, it is always plugged in and my pda stays in the console just in case i have a problem. i used a degreaser on the engine first (black magic engine shine) and i used sea foam spray (baisicly just a coat of petrol oil) to detail it and spray wax on the painted parts. the steering wheel cover is the standard size, most will fit but they do not go on easy. you must pull and strech it starting at the top and working down. just make sure its lines up right starting out b/c it will not move once its put on! i cut my last one off  (dont laugh but i think i got that cover at wallmart or autozone) it matches pretty well and doesnt look too gaudy IMO. i just like it b/c it protects the wheel and thickens it up a bit. _________________ 1996 with 254k miles, L32 4" FWI -> ported N* -> Ported Gen V w/3.0" Pulley, Stage 3 Phenolic I/C, ZZP FMHE, 1.84 RR, Headers and 3" pipe to mufflers, F-body brakes, and lowered on Eibachs. -RIP AMG C400 White on black. | I mean the actual ENGINE. It looks perfect. I have black magic but I didn't want to use too much. Did you spray the engine down? Will I have to cover anything up? I don't want to be ruining anything I dont have to trying to clean my engine. Someone should do a write-up of this. :o | |
