What would be involved in making a front grille like this?

When i bought this car from the dealer, not that long ago, the man who sold it to me had just moved to the US from the UK and he drives an 04 jag XJS. he was telling me about how he knew about the late riviera when he lived in the UK. he said they loved it and wished they could have it there. and he went on talking about how europe doesnt change body styles every 2 years like the US and they keep a design for as much as a decade (ie mecedes benz, bmw, etc) yada yada and he was kinda saying how he saw this riv that way too.

pretty neat - it seemed like this story pertained to the topic..
