Throttle Cable Adjustment?

the throttle cable for my rivi seems to be either not adjusted right or broken. the gas pedal has no kind of leverage anymore and just kinda sit on the floor.

this is what it looks like.



ive looked on a friend of mines rivi and on his cable , the black clip is closer to the little metal object on the left than mine is.

could it be my cable is too long?

Ha i was tryin to help u with this over at the reagalgs board.Did u look to see if its hooked up right the throttle body yet ?

What year/engine is your car?

95 buick riviera ..... i think i know what happened . do you see the goldish metal thing on the right. i think that popped through the firewall , either from the engine area or the inside of the firewall and thats why i have more slack in the inside

I can't see much in that pic but I do see what you are talking about now. Hope its an easy fix
