| I just dropped my exaust to do a cat delete should I delete the resonator or leave it? Will it make a very big difference in sound or performance with it removed? Still using stock mufflers for now. | |

| Personally I would keep it since you will have unpleasant cruising drone without it. It will give you a raspier sound and a slight increase in performance but I don't believe its worth it. | |

| I've heard of some people throwing in a glasspack in place of the rez. They seem to like it, I haven't really heard anything negative for it.
I have heard though, of drone with just removing the Rez. _________________ | |

| I agree with L67. If you remove it, things are gonna get louder during cruising. _________________ '05 GTO 6.0L • 6-spd • 95k miles • 0-60: 4.8s • 16.9 avg MPG • Nelson Ledges Lap: 1:26'95 Celica GT 2.2L • 5-spd • 165k miles • 0-60: yes'98 SC Riviera • 281k miles • 298 HP/370 TQ • 0-60: 5.79s • ET: 13.97 @ 99.28 • 4087 lb • 20.1 avg MPG • Nelson Ledges Lap: 1:30 3.4" pulley • AL104 plugs • 180º t-stat • FWI w/K&N • 1.9:1 rockers • OR pushrods • LS6 valve springs • SLP headers • ZZP fuel rails KYB GR2 struts • MaxAir shocks • Addco sway bars • UMI bushings • GM STB • Enkei 18" EV5s w/ Dunlop DZ101s • F-body calipers EBC bluestuff/Hawk HP plus • SS lines • Brembo slotted discs • DHP tuned • Aeroforce • Hidden Hitch^^^ SOLD ^^^ '70 Ninety-Eight Holiday Coupe 455cid • 116k miles^^^ SOLD ^^^ | |

| karma wrote: a glasspack in place of the rez yeah ,i read that somewhere too, that a glasspak in place of the rez sounds good while killing the drone and allowing better flow. if your going to be under there cherry bombs are cheap go ahead and replace the rez for one if you have the extra cash and let us know how it sounds.i think its a great idea..... if not, leave the rez. my Acura didn't have one and driving around with a hangover with the music full blast to cover the droning noise was annoying... | |

| recommend you either leave the resonator in or replace it with the longest glasspack you can get that will fit... period...
