| Xp!! I hope it works in vista to!? I just got the dhp I brought from chicken today and my only laptop runs on vista. And my gaming desktop runs on windows 7! | |

| A buddy of mine was able to get it to work with Vista. My serial adaptor wouldn't work though so he had to get one from Radioshack. Admittedly, I have a Belkin which isn't the best but I don't know if the Keyspan one works either. In any event, Vista users shouldn't be scared away. | |

Mine didn't work with the belkin on vista , it does work now with the keyspan adapter , which will be included FWIW. | |

| Yes, It came with 2 gig's and upgradeable to only 3 gig. (which I did)
I forgot i had read that somewhere before about the 4 gig and 64 bit. | |

| If it's only upgradable to 3gs its diffrently 32 bit vista. 64 bit is upgradable 2 8gs! I'm running 8gs with windows 7 64 bit on my desktop aswell as many other upgrades! | |

I mostly had trouble trying to get Net Frame Work 1.1 to work since i needed that to get the PowrTuner running. None of this trouble was encountered when i attempted to run it on XP so if you can find an XP machine I would definitely recommend it. But you still may be able to get it going on Vista, its worth a shot! | |

right click on 'my computer', and in the Properties window where it tells you what SP of Vista you are on, it will say 64 bit next to Vista if it's 64. Also, 64 bit wasn't overly popular on laptops until the last year or so. They could be had but were more of a premium. What make/model is your laptop? | |
