Hey everybody, Im a new member here. I went and bought a white 1995 Riviera around late February and put a new motor in it, now Im looking for some ideas for the exhaust and interior. I searched for a few weeks to find the car, and got a steal on it for $500( motor was dead) so now, I got the Riv out here and by the time summer comes, hopefully Ill have a new dash, exhaust, sound system, rims...we will see!

yeah i got a series 2 with 75K on it. the original motor had 133K. i guess the guy wasnt taking care of the car..he said it threw a rod. i had to put new rear air shocks on it, front struts, brakes, fuel filter, now i need rotors...im going to make sure i use the quality stuff, not those duralast ones that spray the gray film all over the wheels.

There are lots of '95s here with Series II, aka L36. Ask him if it's supercharged.

I didnt want to pay for premium gas or do supercharger maintenance lol. That, and alot of the cars with supercharged 3800s that were for sale had not had any supercharger maintenance done to them and I didnt want to inherit someone elses screwups. And the ones i found for sale reasonably were all Series I SC and I didnt really care for that motor in my old 95.

Time to get down to business now! I just sold my Bonneville about 15 minnutes ago and I have to get to Secretary of State and call Progressive. Im not riding a Riviera on no fault insurance anymore! Straight full coverage from now on. Then I gotta get my oil change and tune up, wash the car, and get to class by 2:30.

HELL YEAH!

The Bonneville was nice, because of the lights and styling, but the interior wasnt as roomy and comfortable as a Riviera. And I have extra room to get nasty in the front seat. I got one without the center console in the front so I can just stretch out when I want to get Nasty Time with the lady lol. In the Bonneville, I couldnt do that, and since Im so tall, I always have the seats back and I would have to get out and move them forward to get Nasty Time, then move them back to the rear. But this one's body was far better than either of the first two Rivieras Ive owned, so I looked past the console issue and looked at it as a positive.
