| issues:
1. air conditioner not blowing cold air. blows hot air fine. (I noticed an area by the driver door that does seem to blow cold air at times though...)
2. Cruise control. Does not even seem to engage. Light comes on but turns off after about 30 seconds. Tried it multiple times on my 150 mile drive today.
3. rear air suspension makes a sound after a minute of shutting car off. sounds like a whoosh or something.
4. Coolant level was very low today. I put about 3/4 of a gallon in. Will check it again tomorrow.
thats about it for now | |

| The woosh is fine its the air being dumped out of the air suspension
air con probs... do last...
The one ide be looking at is this requirement for coolant thats 1 1/4 gallons in two days... it may just be low but ide look at the oil and see if there is any coolant in that!
Now the weather is starting to be a little better run it at idle and watch for leakage...
What is the level in the expansion tank (on the drivers side!)

| I checked on my way to work at noon, and mine worked at 30. Just checked the owners manual, and I'm surprised to see it functions down to 25mph. | |

| coolant level seems fine now.
Only problems, although pretty big, are the AC and cruise not working. I called dealer and he basically said screw you buddy, you only bought the car for 2700 what do you expect? right....

| Cruise: I'm not sure but I would check the speed sensor, the vacuum lines, and the electrical lines to the brake switch. You will probably need the factory manual to do this troubleshooting.
As for coolant - look for leaks behind and below the water pump, if you don't have coolant inthe oil (foam under oil cap) or in the exhaust (white residue in the tail pipe).

Not surprised, the car IS 15 yrs old. I take it you didn't check all the system functions before you bought? Rule #1 when buying a used car, find out what does and doesn't work before you pay. It would be different if the dealer stated everything works, or we'll fix it n/c.
