| Jeep and Sebring are both gone! Sold them both to the same person. He obviously has some sort of closed-head injury.... lol I delivered the Sebring to him on Saturday after work, and through conversation the Jeep was brought up. My household is now void of all Chryslers!! I wasn't really planning on selling the Wrangler, but he gave me $1000 cash for it on the spot. I paid $300 for the damn thing. I broke out about even after I saved it from the crusher. Soooooo, I have an "extra" $1000 to play with. Now that my "reserved" parking spot in the back lot at work is empty (the Sebring has been sitting there since I bought the Aztek), I can bring the '97 to the shop and start tearing it down for engine rebuild and go-fast parts. The best part about it all is that I have my driveway spot back! Yay! | |

| I'm not trying to "scare" anybody lol. This is something I've been talking about and had plans to do for years. I just now have the means of actually doing so.
I'm going to run pump gas. Yes, I have that "Stage 2" Full IC setup sitting on the workbench in the basement. Remember I got it on Black Friday for $600?! That was over a year ago.....
I'll probably end up getting a 2500 stall Converter as well. It all depends on how much and what the engine needs internally.
The engine is coming out of the '97 to be rebuilt. I'm going to continue to drive the '98 while I do so. When the engine is rebuilt and together (minus LIM and S/C), then and only then I'll drop the entire cradle/suspension out of the '98, take the engine off of it, then slap it all in the '97 with the '98 trans and new engine. This really shouldn't take all that long once the ball really gets rolling. I'm bringing the '97 back to the shop so I can work on it in my "spare" time. | |

Stan.....lol Welcome to the club! Mine also broke in the up position a month or so ago. Don't know if I will replace it or not as a replacement isn't that cheap. _________________ 1998 Supercharged Riviera - Custom CAI, Alpine spx-13ref, Infinity 6x9's, Alpine 4 Channel Amp, Kicker KX3, Silverstars, STB, Hawk Brake Pads, Monroe Air Shocks, KYB GR2

| I'll take better pics of the heads when I actually get a chance to look at everything real good. Right now I'm not taking them out of the bag.... I like all that's left on the Cam label is "XPZ". They really don't want anyone to know the actual specs of it. The pushrods are 7.000 and 7.050. Rollmaster Double T-chain, LS7 lifters, and a 2.7" Modular PS. Wish I could just snap my fingers and it would all be done.... | |
