| This is my Riv I got on June 5th this year. I'ts a 1998 Emerald Green Pearl, with Taupe colored interior. With gold emblems. It has 99,000 miles on it and runs and looks great. I haven't done alot with it yet. Just clayed, waxed and did the standard maint. I did install the front strut tower brace. Also in the process of installing an aftermarket stereo system with a Pioneer avh-p4200dvd touch screen receiver. I'll get some more pics of that stuff when I'm finished. free image host uploading pictures online photo storage image free hosting images hosting img host

| Thanks. Ya I think it's a pretty nice color on that car. Took me a little while to figure out just exactly what the color was called. | |

| Oh, I've been looking. Not sure when I'm gonna start yet and not sure where I'm gonna start. Probably work on the supercharger pulley and FWI first. | |

| Do the plugs and t-stat first. They're cheaper, and will help keep your engine from going "boom". _________________ '05 GTO 6.0L • 6-spd • 95k miles • 0-60: 4.8s • 16.9 avg MPG • Nelson Ledges Lap: 1:26'95 Celica GT 2.2L • 5-spd • 165k miles • 0-60: yes'98 SC Riviera • 281k miles • 298 HP/370 TQ • 0-60: 5.79s • ET: 13.97 @ 99.28 • 4087 lb • 20.1 avg MPG • Nelson Ledges Lap: 1:30 3.4" pulley • AL104 plugs • 180º t-stat • FWI w/K&N • 1.9:1 rockers • OR pushrods • LS6 valve springs • SLP headers • ZZP fuel rails KYB GR2 struts • MaxAir shocks • Addco sway bars • UMI bushings • GM STB • Enkei 18" EV5s w/ Dunlop DZ101s • F-body calipers EBC bluestuff/Hawk HP plus • SS lines • Brembo slotted discs • DHP tuned • Aeroforce • Hidden Hitch^^^ SOLD ^^^ '70 Ninety-Eight Holiday Coupe 455cid • 116k miles^^^ SOLD ^^^ | |

| Looks awesome. You can tell it was parked inside alot. Those cornering lamps show very little or no discoloration. don't forget to gut the airbox and I just did my rear shocks - you'd be amazed at the difference. | |

| Agree on rear shocks - also, for front struts the KYB GR-2 units will transform the way the car handles. You can also install bigger front/rear anti-sway bars/bushings for really tight cornering, and tires will improve the grip. _________________ '05 GTO 6.0L • 6-spd • 95k miles • 0-60: 4.8s • 16.9 avg MPG • Nelson Ledges Lap: 1:26'95 Celica GT 2.2L • 5-spd • 165k miles • 0-60: yes'98 SC Riviera • 281k miles • 298 HP/370 TQ • 0-60: 5.79s • ET: 13.97 @ 99.28 • 4087 lb • 20.1 avg MPG • Nelson Ledges Lap: 1:30 3.4" pulley • AL104 plugs • 180º t-stat • FWI w/K&N • 1.9:1 rockers • OR pushrods • LS6 valve springs • SLP headers • ZZP fuel rails KYB GR2 struts • MaxAir shocks • Addco sway bars • UMI bushings • GM STB • Enkei 18" EV5s w/ Dunlop DZ101s • F-body calipers EBC bluestuff/Hawk HP plus • SS lines • Brembo slotted discs • DHP tuned • Aeroforce • Hidden Hitch^^^ SOLD ^^^ '70 Ninety-Eight Holiday Coupe 455cid • 116k miles^^^ SOLD ^^^ | |

| Man, that car looks good, especially with the chrome stock wheels. I would keep it just like that. | |

| Thanks guys. I do have new plugs for it and wires. Did replace the supercharger oil. I did forget I acutally replaced the corner lamps with new as soon as i got it, but yes it was kept inside. I am the 3rd owner.
Maybe someone would know the answer to this. I haven't been able to find any information about the gold emblems my car has and I've not found another Riviera with the same wheels as those in chrome. I've found them in aluminum, but not chrome. | |

| Someone would know better than I, but I thought the gold emblems was a "signature" edition. There are a few on here with your style of rims but I thought in 98 they were totally different- I've only seen that style on 97 or older | |

| Thanks, that should help alot. I did notice the Riviera fender emblems on the sail panels were not listed. So if anyone has any leads on those mine are a little worn. | |

| Mods coming soon. Thanks to the people on here with suggestions and all the reading I've been doing on this forum. I Put in the autolite 605 plugs and gutted the air box for now. Also just got my new performance tires shipped to me today. Going to be doing the FWI, 3.5" modular pulley, boost gauge, oil gauge, front stabilizer bar, rear sway bar and front and rear shocks here within the next couple of months. I will be posting pics as I go. | |

| Great car and great find Chris. Can you take a close up of the emblem on the sail panel? I've never seen that on a 95-99 Riv, is it original? | |

| Yes I can, but I won't be able to till Monday. The car is at work and I won't be back there till then. I don't know if it's original equipment or not. It has some sort of gold package and chrome wheels. It may have been a dealership option. | |

| Hmmmm, I noticed that the "Riviera" badge is missing from the quarter panel. I wonder if the "Riviera" badge was deleted and the oval "R" emblem was included instead when the gold package was ordered. Either way it looks pretty cool! Thanks for posting the pic Chris. | |

| I'm missing the one for the passenger side. The driver side is there but the R is broken. | |
