| I'm still here with my Riv, stalking the forums. Nothing new to report other than I replaced my battery again after 8 years. Otherwise just working on my new to me Vette. Put in a nice aftermarket stereo with Double Din DVD player that has android auto. Basically the same as what I have in the Riv with a few speaker changes. | |

| Nice job on your vette, my 99 trans am has the same issues. Which radio did you go with and did you have to cut up the bay. | |

| Thank you! I'm using the Pioneer AVH-4100NEX in both the Riv and Vette. | |

| Sorry, I forgot to answer your other question. In the Riv I may have had to cut out the very back piece for the new radio to go back far enough. Wasn't a big deal. The Vette I had bought an aftermarket Vettenuts Double Din Bezel and had to make brackets for it to mount and fit properly. | |

| That works for me with dual rear usb's so I can run them through the console. One for a flash drive b/c I like it more then bluetooth and the other for my phone if I want to run waze or charge. The full customizable screen doesn't hurt either. Ty. | |

| This will do iPhone Carplay or Android Auto. I have had these for 4 years or so just so you know. So there are probably newer models out. | |

| That would be a 73 with a bored and stroked built 440. Original 99k 400 motor sits on an engine stand. | |

| 17" Cragar SS? That's news to me.
That's a beautiful car. I don't see many 73-73 Road Runners - or Road Runners of any vintage.

| The Vettes and the Trans Am aren't bad either . . .
As far as muscle car goes, IMO the 71-72 Road Runners are about as good as it gets, although apparently most people think they're ugly? I can't see that at all. The 73-74 Road Runners lost a little in the looks department, but didn't get beat with the ugly stick like the Charger did. It doesn't look like the bumpers got pushed out to meet safety standards.

| Here's a bad picture of 17" Cragar the wheels. I was actually taking a picture of my Camaro at the time. | |

Chrysler met the 74 standards on many of its cars by tacking huge nerfs onto the 73 bumpers. Can't see these on the one posted here because the bumpers and nerfs are painted black BUT if you do a web search for almost any 1974 chrysler/plymouth/dodge you can't miss them. Big rubber blocks on chrome standoffs, attached to the front and rear faces of the 1973 bumpers.

Nice! albertj - I've seen the giant rubber pieces on 73-74 Chargers. I can live with the rubber pieces easier than the huge gap caused by pushing the bumpers out.

| my 73 Dodge Polara had some BIG rubber bumpers on it, they were good for trying to push you buddy into an intersection at a red light & not damage either car.
