| [quote="J. Chris Davis"]This is my Riv I got on June 5th this year. I'ts a 1998 Emerald Green Pearl, with Taupe colored interior. With gold emblems. It has 99,000 miles on it and runs and looks great. I haven't done alot with it yet. Just clayed, waxed and did the standard maint. I did install the front strut tower brace. Also in the process of installing an aftermarket stereo system with a Pioneer avh-p4200dvd touch screen receiver. I'll get some more pics of that stuff when I'm finished. That is my favorite color combination. Welcome and good luck with your build | |

| I'm pretty happy with the color of the car. I just hope the calipers look good in the same color as the car. I'll find out this weekend, lol. | |

| Chris, I installed simular rotors on my Riv. Note that there is a right & left to them. Mine were marked with a small 'R' & 'L'. Roger - J. Chris Davis wrote:

| Today the brake project starts. At about 2 or 3. Whenever I can get out of work early. Should be done by tomorrow after I paint the rear brackets and let them dry. Will get more pics posted soon. | |

| Got precut window tint for the car from ebay. Went with 20% all the way around. Trying to match the sunroof shading. It's been 7 years since I've installed tint on anything. So I'll have pics posted as soon as it's done. Unless I screw it up. Also my car has finally reached its 100k miles mark. | |

| Thanks. Ya window tint isn't fun. If it doesn't work out I'll just pay to have it done, but the closest place to where I live wants $299 to doe all 5 windows. Kind of expensive. So I figured I'd take a shot at it first. Wheels arent to badly priced either. $422 for all 4 and shipping. | |

| In my experience, window tint is something one shouldn't skimp on ... best left to the pros. I hope you prove me wrong. Sounds like a super deal on the rims. | |

| So far it hasn't gone so good, lol. Figured I'd waste up the rest of what I have of tint and see if I can salvage anything. Otherwise it's going to the pros. | |

| Bad part is I swore I'd never do tint again. 7 years later I'm attempting it again. | |

| Ooh I was just considering whether I should try to do some tinting on mine (we seem to have almost an identical car stock). Did you have trouble with the rear window or the sides? I've done my own tint on 3 cars and had it turn out good every time, but the rear window on this looks like a problem I might just want to get dealt with professionally | |

| I haven't done the rear one yet, but I'm pretty sure it's going to a professional for that. I only got around to doing one of the rear side windows last night, but it kept getting messed up. Gonna attempt again tonight or just do the door windows, which I would think will be rather easy. Also going to try with a heat gun to. | |

| I would do all the sides from the same company, that way the colors will match. as far as the rear leave this to the pros. when i did mine, the guy doing came out to the car to figure out what tint went where. You should have seen the look on his face and then said oh yea i remember these cars. But any way came out great. | |

| I got home and just decided I'm just gonna have them do it all. Just gotta figure out when I can get the car in. They said they need it for the whole day. I'm hoping next week sometime. Thinking I'm going to do 35% all the way around. The windows already have a tint to them from the factory anyway. | |

| Well I have the appointment setup for tuesday to have the window tint installed. If it all goes well I'll have some precut tint to get rid of in 20% charcoal black. It is missing the passenger quarter window though. | |
