| just a random question and i am sure it is not thread worthy, but my windshield wiper fluid sprays the shit out of my car, not just the windshield but the whole damn car. one little push on the switch, and the whole car gets sprayed with it. the whole back window damn near gets the treatment. is it just my riv or are all of them like that? | |

| Mine doesn't go that far. If I have my sunroof open and I'm traveling at anything greater than 30 MPH, I might get some fluid in the roof opening, depends on crosswinds though. But I do keep the sunroof closed when i know i'm going to wash the windshield, and the drivers window, it can find it's way in there to, again depending on speed.
I have never had it go all the way to the roof and rear window though. Is their some way to aim them down.
I've never looked, cause I don't have that problem. Might need to reshape your hood a bit.

Not really, they're solid, non-adjustable plastic. Personally, I try not to use them below 45 MPH, so the wind will keep the spray on the intended window...

Possible, but only if you're getting a scattered spray. These are "fluidic" washer nozzles that actually make the water act like radio waves... If you're getting an even fan of spray from side to side, they are working properly. They were introduced on the '79 Mustangs, and the owner's manual for my '81 Eldorado even had a section describing them.

| I'd carefully with a rubber mallett and a dolley, reform the hood just in front of them, you'd never notice if done correctly, and if not OH,Well. | |

| btw, what kind of wiper fluid do u guys use? my whole life ive just used windex and water 50/50. is there anything wrong with that tho? that kinda reminds me of how ppl wash their car with dishwashing soap and water. idk its just somethings ppl grew up on. anyways for the riv i've been using this, but i don't seem to like it that much. since the fluid oversprays, i get it all over the car. and when it drys, it doesn't dry on clear. and its very noticeable. | |

| I use the RainX stuff. It's awesome. "Waxes" the windshield every time you use it. Water slides right off. | |

| I use 20/10 concentrate... It's colorless (and generic blue generally sucks anyway, the pink stuff is a bit better cleaner,) and you can adjust how strong you want it. It's been around for decades, and you can also use it straight to clean stubborn stuff off the glass. I like RainX until I have to use my wipers, then it leaves a very noticeable pattern - though I DO use it on the rear window and quarter windows... | |

| I use full strength blue washer fluid year round. The cheaper the better. I've never diluted it in 33 years of driving. Someone here mentioned once it may hurt the paint. It never has, and never will.
