I took these after cleaning her up a bit for making 250,000 miles. Since I first posted to the showroom I have changed the wheels to 7 spoke chrome from 12 spoke silver.

Does look sharp.

What color is the interior?

The wifes car(see signature) has the light grey interior....yours looks like a darker color.

My interior is medium blue. I will take a few pics tomorrow. Since the plastic wood on the console started breaking up I have been thinking of doing a wood grain dash. However I have not been able to decide on what type/color of wood would look good with blue. However the other day I was looking at Riv pictures and saw these of a 65 Riv. It has matte aluminum but I think I will go with brushed. It looks very familiar to me for a couple of reasons. If you notice the general layout it is very similar to the 8th generation. I also learned to drive in a white 63 LeSabre with blue interior with an interior that looked almost identical to this one. The main difference is the LeSabre did not have a console.

Yes, I always felt that our interior is a great modernized version of the '65

Here is my interior. Note the signs of having 250,000 miles. Wear mark on upper right spoke of steering wheel, hole in floormat where my heel rests, and the console.

The woodgrain around the shifter on the wifes car recently split and peeled just like yours has. The heat this summer has been tough...I used some packing tape to "fix it" where it is not real noticeable though.
I need to replace that piece but have not got around to ordering the piece to replace it with. I wonder if that piece can be purchased by itself?

Thanks for any tips or info.

Strange, it appears your radio and shifter wood-trim are mismatched, as are mine and many other blue interior rivieras. I have always wondered what the deal is with that neutral

Hopefully, that's not how your steering wheel sits, with the wheels strait?

Mine are not mismatched. It is just the difference between sun and shade.

No problem. Mine cracked and I started playing with it as I was driving. I thought that i would glue the pieces down later but I lost them first. Besides, I figured I needed an excuse to add the wood (now metal) dash.
