Melissa`s 98 riviera

Today being a balmy 14C, I washed, clay-barred and waxed Melissa`s 1998 Riviera. She bought it Dec 31 09 at 29000 km (18125 mi) and it now has 44000 km (27500 mi). The story can be found somewhere on the forum.

the detailing process took longer than expected so the inside will only get washed some other time. I'm quite pleased with how the detailing turned out, so I figured I'd take a few photos. I then remembered I never posted pics of it, so here it is:
















Because we get the cars rustproofed (liberally sprayed with oil), the engine compartment has a tendency to get much dirtier than an unsprayed car. Maybe I'll detail the engine compartment some day.

Looks really nice. Man I am getting envious of all these low mileage Rivs out there . Got to about 15C here too Jason, but didn't have the time to clean her right, cant wait to get her looking pretty again.

looks brand new. i wish i had that much gloss in my paint. Nice job with the clay bar btw.

Beautiful, I think if mine were in as good condition as that I wouldn't have sold it.

Also couldn't help but notice, the blue Si across the street is the same car my suitemate has. Same torque as mine but because it has more hp it feels REALLY slow.

Truly a beautiful example... Have you done any mods or are you keeping it stock?

Thats a great question buddy!!!

It currently as the mods listed in my signature: gutted air box, Srut tower Brace and a DHP 1.5 pcm tune. I have a 3.4" pulley and SLP headers waiting to go on. I'm also going to take it to get a Motorvac treatment as I think it`s getting inadequate mileage.
