I just picked up a set of OEM 12-spoke 16" Riviera rims. The regular aluminium ones. eThe guy took them off his car in 1995 after 3 months of use to put on chromes he bought at the dealership. I'll be mounting my winter tires (studded Hankook I-Pikes) on them since my crappy steel wheels are so imbalanced that they are causing a vibration, even after being rebalanced.

Also there's a semi-local guy selling 2 full sets of chrome 7-spoke wheels w/ tires for $500 a set. If anyone is really interested, I can go pick them up.

I notice that a lot of you guys have very shiny chrome rims that look to be stock. Mine are stock but they are a dull gray frown

Is there any where i could find nice chrome rims for a low price?

There were 2 rims available on the 95-99 Riviera. A 12 spoke painted wheel, like yours, and a 7 spoke chrome wheel like these. Find them cheap. I doubt it. I paid 100.00 each for these.

As far as the chrome wheels go, the ones under 100.00 each were very obviously worn. The good ones ranged in price from 125.00 - 175.00 each, and none of them come with the center cap. They are getting harder to find. I bought mine from a coworker for 100.00 each. He wanted 150.00 each, but I stood firm and he came down to my offer. I bought a 5th wheel for a spare from this site, http://www.autopartsfair.com/buick-usedparts/riviera-1998-wheel.html?fit_notes=ee8b253a5b84e1fe7641a4a7c64d63fe&seq_num=2

They described the wheel I bought as "very good", and it was beautiful, and clean. I paid 122.90 for it with free shipping.

I had to clean them up. There was a fair amount of brake residue on them. Gave them a coat of wax, and they are looking good.

I upgraded from the 12 spoke to the chrome 7 spoke. I makes a huge difference in the looks. Bought the set for $500 shipped including the caps. Today the caps cost almost the same as wheels.
