and did you re-paint the Riviera logo on the pad as well ? If so, how and what did you use. Actually I replaced it shortly after I got the car in '99 and it hasn't gotten too dirty since, guess I've been lucky. I have been able to clean up the one on the newest Silver Arrow some, just pretty much spraying it with a little higher than hose pressure water. Might try a little cleaner with it next time and see how it comes out? I painted the lettering with Testors model car paint, the small enamel bottles. I used silver I think and did it with it out of the car, it was tough enough doing it that way so I’m sure it would be a real bitch with it installed!

We could make some arrangements. I would have to have them for at least a week each for the “FULL” treatment! I’ll have to say I have washed it three or four times in a two day period before, wash-polish-detail-wash again, over and over until I get it clean enough to my satisfaction! Several years ago I did pay a place $200 to detail this one … did nothing but PISS me off! I’ve never done it since and I’ll never do it again! They made more messes that I ended up having to clean up than anything else!

Thanks It's Black, which was kind of why I chose the dash kit I put in, I thought it kind of went good with the color combination.

| I've heard nothing but good stuff about the Zaino Bros products. My friend used some on his Corvette and it made it look brand new, looks like you had similar results on your car also. Really makes the black look deep, might have to try some of that on mine as well??? | |

Do you still feel the same way? I'm just curious. I catch myself looking at old posts of mine sometimes and realize I've been constantly changing over time.

Zaino Bros stuff is pricey but when done correctly and all the steps complete it does look GOOD! I've seen it done on a few Black cars and like I said "done correctly" it will leave a swirl/streak free finish!

Thanks Nope the "lip" is gray, must just be the way the sun is hitting it? - IBx1 wrote:

Not so much anymore … but I still don't/can't look at your showroom posts, even with a DSL connection the quantity and size of your pictures and stuff just takes too long.
