| Hey Everyone, So, this is my new ride. I bought this Riviera from my neighbour to sort of have a project. I don't want to do a whole heck of a lot to it, other than just puuuurdy it up a bit. I was thinking maybe a cold air intake and a better exhaust for performance wise. But I mainly want to turn it into a loud music head turner. Non-competition though. Right now I have rear 6x9's upgraded (Alpine Type-R), front 5 1/4 (Alpine Type-R, tweeters soon to follow), and the deck, which was a bitch and a half to install (Alpine CDA-117). Next will be a Alpine mono block amp for the subs, Type-R subs (dual 12), and then an Alpine 4 channel amp for head unit and speakers. I'm also gonna dynamat the crap out of the truck and modify where the 6x9's are. Do something so they stop rattling against the top. I apologize for the poor lighting Thanks for looking! Looking forward to hear what you all think Also, any suggestions as to what I should do? Engine performance? Suspension? Exterior - paint, rims? Jordan. | |

I was a little hesitant on purchasing it cuz I thought it was rather ugly and for "old people" but the more I drive it, the more I enjoy it. Some things are really annoying, like the signal light chime, oh my, it just makes me wanna shoot myself. Thanks for the welcome. Also, don't make fun of the rust our cars up here do see snow every winter, so rust is very common. and there is very little rust on this thing especially for the year

| Pretty sure you can make that chime go away with a little experimentation. _________________ '05 GTO 6.0L • 6-spd • 95k miles • 0-60: 4.8s • 16.9 avg MPG • Nelson Ledges Lap: 1:26'95 Celica GT 2.2L • 5-spd • 165k miles • 0-60: yes'98 SC Riviera • 281k miles • 298 HP/370 TQ • 0-60: 5.79s • ET: 13.97 @ 99.28 • 4087 lb • 20.1 avg MPG • Nelson Ledges Lap: 1:30 3.4" pulley • AL104 plugs • 180º t-stat • FWI w/K&N • 1.9:1 rockers • OR pushrods • LS6 valve springs • SLP headers • ZZP fuel rails KYB GR2 struts • MaxAir shocks • Addco sway bars • UMI bushings • GM STB • Enkei 18" EV5s w/ Dunlop DZ101s • F-body calipers EBC bluestuff/Hawk HP plus • SS lines • Brembo slotted discs • DHP tuned • Aeroforce • Hidden Hitch^^^ SOLD ^^^ '70 Ninety-Eight Holiday Coupe 455cid • 116k miles^^^ SOLD ^^^ | |

| FYI, we tear a lot of stuff apart around here. Think of it this way - it should be easy enough to find! _________________ '05 GTO 6.0L • 6-spd • 95k miles • 0-60: 4.8s • 16.9 avg MPG • Nelson Ledges Lap: 1:26'95 Celica GT 2.2L • 5-spd • 165k miles • 0-60: yes'98 SC Riviera • 281k miles • 298 HP/370 TQ • 0-60: 5.79s • ET: 13.97 @ 99.28 • 4087 lb • 20.1 avg MPG • Nelson Ledges Lap: 1:30 3.4" pulley • AL104 plugs • 180º t-stat • FWI w/K&N • 1.9:1 rockers • OR pushrods • LS6 valve springs • SLP headers • ZZP fuel rails KYB GR2 struts • MaxAir shocks • Addco sway bars • UMI bushings • GM STB • Enkei 18" EV5s w/ Dunlop DZ101s • F-body calipers EBC bluestuff/Hawk HP plus • SS lines • Brembo slotted discs • DHP tuned • Aeroforce • Hidden Hitch^^^ SOLD ^^^ '70 Ninety-Eight Holiday Coupe 455cid • 116k miles^^^ SOLD ^^^ | |

| well, as do i. I installed that head unit myself, which was an utter bitch i tell ya what. and, i had a double DIN unit for this car, cuz it looked like it would fit. well. that was a no. so i had to go to single and then i had to heat up the metal frame and widen the thing so it would fit in properly. and the very bottom is a terrible place for the deck. the gear lever is in the way! but hey i did it. also, i rewired my whole car and installed the speakers (rewired the speakers and got it read for subs)
and im not quite picking up what youre layin down on the whole it should be easy to find. but keep in mind, i just worked a 12 hour shift and ive been up for 18ish hours. lol

| My 87 Buick has a black chime box the size of a cigarette pack that controls the chime #25524794. On my car it is under the dash near the steering column. Good chance that the part is the same knowing GM because it is correct for the Park Av of those years.. Easy to disconnect it. | |

| Wow, it's nice! I think you should restore to it's original fashion, and maybe tweak it a little bit, here and there, if you know what I mean. Defenitly get a new engine though, to outrun those idiot 17 year olds in Hona Civics... lol! | |

| The shifter console looks really cool on this generation! The wood grain looks of better quality than the newer rivieras. | |

| Thanks, I'll take some better pictures and in the daylight instead of some poor parking garage light and post them up soon.
Well! There stereo is 95% done! All I need now is a separate 4 channel amp to power the speakers, so more power can go to them. Also to add another battery. Ill get pictures up ASAP! I should have done a write up on this.
