Intake So far i plan to P & P the S/C working on the lowwer intake right now
I have a LS1 T/B and MAF will these work on the car? i know the tumbler is different and i will need some sort of interface plate to mate the TB to the S/C
I have some milled P & P heads with over sized valves and 5 angle valve job.
Question : how do i tell how much it has been milled ? has some surface rust so i maight need a clean up mill...
I have a full set of yellow LS6 springs and titanium retainers.. i can still use these ?? freind told me not to use the LS6..
Cam not sure on the size i got it 7 years ago... need to get it checked out by a shop i think it has some surface rust even thought i kept it in the house with oil on it.
think i will go with a 3.4 MPS (gutted air box with a K&N)
Exaust .. i would like to go full 3 " with converter but unsure of headers... its a DD but i want low knock and around 300 HP 22 MPG razz

I wouldn't do the cam if you want 22 MPG. 1.9:1 Rockers will give you 300 HP with headers, and lets you keep your fuel economy. No need for the 3" exhaust at this level unless you just like the noise.

if i dont upgrade the exaust will i get lots of KR???
checked out the cam with my calipers today and its looking like a VS ZZP cam ....
to be honest i think i should sell the cam, springs, and heads and just get a IC and a 3.4 and be a happy man lol if anything is left do a nice exauset but i think that would get me the extra power and no KR with little loss in gas... and im unemployed so the less i can spend the better ( should have a new job here soon thought)

Our exhaust system is very good stock. I have stock exhaust after the cat with very low KR (1-2º max). INTENSE dyno'd 423 crank HP on a Bonneville (G-body) still using stock exhaust.

The IC will let you run an even smaller pulley, but otherwise doesn't give any added power. Dropping the pulley without breathing mods results in more low-end torque, but limited top-end power. That's fun for smoking tires, but doesn't win races.

Rockers act like a cam, when you step on the gas. At under 3500 RPM, fuel economy and performance remains unaffected. I've seen high 30's MPG on the freeway with rockers installed.

yeah i would love some full roller rocker arms just did 1.8s on the trans am smile
i think my main focus on the build will be VE
making everything smooth in and out and reducing frictional losses.
Small cams dont seem to hurt VE but somtimes hurt economy
I know i had my trans am over 400 RWHP and still got 32 + on the highway.
so improving power and MPG is deff somthing i would like to do razz

i belive the aurora exaust is better, my friend has 4 aurora's 3 GTP,s and one of those other cars with a 3.8 S/c regal i believe so hes tore them all apart and compaired the differences. If i do mod the exaust i have to keep my pretty tips lol
