Vaccum line routing after N* Install Empty
PostSubject: Vaccum line routing after N* Install   Vaccum line routing after N* Install EmptyWed Jan 18, 2012 1:11 pm

guys, i've been looking around for hours and it seems that all of you have your vaccum lines different. Do we have a uniform way of running all the vaccum lines after the throttle body install? Obviously the adapter plate only has 1 port as compared to 2.

I dont use an of the ports form my N*. So to answer your question no we dont have a uniform way.
Main concern on the 96's is feeding the right vac to the transmission.
I can post a pic later if you'd like

I believe on mine they got moved to the top port on the blower and i T'd off the lim feed that also runs to the FPR.
Everyone's is different because everyoen has different mods. my gen 3 N* adapter had a vac port i used but the gen V one doesnt.

Then that's what I'm looking for is how to run the lines for the Gen 3 N* adapter. I've tried a couple of different things but it just makes the car run like shit. I tried running the one from the sensor behind the alt to the top of the SC and the trans to the port on the adapter but the car ran like ish.

LOL and zzperformance and all their broken links make me sick. Now I need to spend a whole lot of time trying to find the damn default maf table for this N* since their linky is broken...Getting annoyed today. Should have waited until this weekend to do this.

Ok, so I just replaced a shady looking vacum line, ran the trans to the adapter, the sensor to the blocked off port on top of the sc case and its fixed now. I may just say screw the lq4 table and just start tuning from here.
