| My driver seat belt buckle broke this morning. Of all the parts i expect to break down and need replacing this is not one of them. The spring action for the button stopped holding the clip up so the belt wouldnt stay connected.
Gmparts direct says they are discontinued and cant get them.
Ed morad doesnt have any and doesnt know when there will be any avail.
Does anyone know another resource besides the dealer? They quoted 10 days delay and $120.
Part # i found was 12528990
For the time being i swapped it out with the passenger side. Had to in order to get to work safely. luckly my gf doesnt like taking my car places lol.

| Found a tan riv at the junkyard today. Seats were gone. Not sure if the buckles were still there. I'm gonig back tomorrow. I'll let you know. | |

| Seat belts attach to the seats themselves. | Problem is the 95/96 rivs had different buckles than the 97+ rivs. Ours are metal with a gm logo on the button.
