| Will these energy suspension stabilizer bar bushings fit my rear addco bar? they are 7/8 in. or 22mm.
http://www.energysuspensionparts.com/proddetail.asp?prod=9.5158
I'm having a hard time figuring out a bushing that will work.

| Probably not, but you could try them. I think they're just the wrong general shape. Best option is the OEM FE2 (orange) rubber bushings. These are discussed earlier in the thread. _________________ '05 GTO 6.0L • 6-spd • 95k miles • 0-60: 4.8s • 16.9 avg MPG • Nelson Ledges Lap: 1:26'95 Celica GT 2.2L • 5-spd • 165k miles • 0-60: yes'98 SC Riviera • 281k miles • 298 HP/370 TQ • 0-60: 5.79s • ET: 13.97 @ 99.28 • 4087 lb • 20.1 avg MPG • Nelson Ledges Lap: 1:30 3.4" pulley • AL104 plugs • 180º t-stat • FWI w/K&N • 1.9:1 rockers • OR pushrods • LS6 valve springs • SLP headers • ZZP fuel rails KYB GR2 struts • MaxAir shocks • Addco sway bars • UMI bushings • GM STB • Enkei 18" EV5s w/ Dunlop DZ101s • F-body calipers EBC bluestuff/Hawk HP plus • SS lines • Brembo slotted discs • DHP tuned • Aeroforce • Hidden Hitch^^^ SOLD ^^^ '70 Ninety-Eight Holiday Coupe 455cid • 116k miles^^^ SOLD ^^^ | |

| Here's a picture of the bushings needed. The ones on the left fit the Addco bar. You can make out the GM part number. | Subject: Addco front sway bar for 1995 Riviera, Addco asking for photos, specs Fri Apr 12, 2013 11:59 am | |
| I dropped an email to Addco product development yesterday and pointed out that they only make a replacement rear sway bar for the 1995 Riviera, but not a front. However, they do make both front and rear replacments for later years of this series.
I mentioned that there seems to be a lot of 1995 owners that can't get replacement or peroformance parts for that particular year, and an Addco front bar was one of those so I suspected they could sell quite a few.
With that, they asked me if I could provide photos of the front bar for the 1995 Riviera. They didn't say if they wanted photos of the bar installed or out of the car, but I would suspect that both examples would be helpful, especially out of the car so they can see how the bar is bent, etc.
So, does anyone have, or could take, any photos of the 1995 Riviera sway bar out of the car? I could take some of mine as installed. It would be great to give them any significant dimensions as well if someone has the bar out the car.
If someone had a junked 1995, we could even think about mailing them one if they asked as that might make it really easy for them to fabricate.
Thanks, Al

| Al, I think it might be time for you to remove your front bar to photograph, or visit a local yard and purchase one. They can't be selling for very much. You can drive the car with no bar short term without too much consequence
Props to Addco for showing interest and responding to your request. Give them what they need to get the process started! | I was thinking along the same lines, although I read in a prior thread about about difficult it was to remove the front OEM sway and the one 95 I've found in a local yard is on the ground with no wheels, so that isn't easy either.
I may do so anyway though, but was curious if anyone just coincidentally had a 95 front sway already out that could be photographed to save some time.
Thanks, Al

| Do we know if the front sway bar for the 1995 and 1996 are the same?
I found an eBay auction by our friends at Morad for a 1996 OEM front sway bar that they list as being compatible. If so, that might be an even larger incentive for Addco as it would cover two model years.
I've asked Morad if they can confirm the x-ref and if I can use their photos for Addco.

Hi, you have the Addco front and rear on your 96? That would be interesting news I was under the impression, as is Addco I believe, that they do not have a front bar for the 95 & 96. Did you get the "97-01" front and rear? According to the Addco catalog, this is what they offer for the Riviera. FRONT BAR YEAR STOCK # DIAMETER ENDLINK KIT NOTE # 97-01 2018 1 1/4″ 015 86-96 N/A N/A N/A REAR BAR YEAR STOCK # DIAMETER ENDLINK KIT NOTE #97-01 2015 7/8″ N/A 86-96 419 7/8″ 019 13 Ed Morad sent me some photos of a 96 front bar, which he is also under the impression is identical to a 95. So I sent those photos to Addco. Ed even offered to send a bar to Addco, which was really great. Be sure to send him any business. BTW, he apparently has a 96 green Riviera right now from the photos in his eBay ad. Thanks! Al

| Nice work. I think it's apparent the Addco front bar will work on a '95, but Addco has only just now been made aware of it. _________________ '05 GTO 6.0L • 6-spd • 95k miles • 0-60: 4.8s • 16.9 avg MPG • Nelson Ledges Lap: 1:26'95 Celica GT 2.2L • 5-spd • 165k miles • 0-60: yes'98 SC Riviera • 281k miles • 298 HP/370 TQ • 0-60: 5.79s • ET: 13.97 @ 99.28 • 4087 lb • 20.1 avg MPG • Nelson Ledges Lap: 1:30 3.4" pulley • AL104 plugs • 180º t-stat • FWI w/K&N • 1.9:1 rockers • OR pushrods • LS6 valve springs • SLP headers • ZZP fuel rails KYB GR2 struts • MaxAir shocks • Addco sway bars • UMI bushings • GM STB • Enkei 18" EV5s w/ Dunlop DZ101s • F-body calipers EBC bluestuff/Hawk HP plus • SS lines • Brembo slotted discs • DHP tuned • Aeroforce • Hidden Hitch^^^ SOLD ^^^ '70 Ninety-Eight Holiday Coupe 455cid • 116k miles^^^ SOLD ^^^ | |

I haven't heard back from Addco yet. I just sent them the photos yesterday. Am also waiting for Mr.Riviera to confirm what bars, model and front and rear he fit up to this 96. Would also want to confirm he has the 96 lower control arms still and not the later ones, although not sure that would matter. But yes, that would be good news if the Addco bars fit 95 & 96 directly Al

| Ill have to check part numbers when i get home. I am running solid larger front and rear sway bars, not sure anyone but addco makes them and i have the 96 lca because the 97+ ones do not fit bc of a bushing change. _________________ 1996 with 254k miles, L32 4" FWI -> ported N* -> Ported Gen V w/3.0" Pulley, Stage 3 Phenolic I/C, ZZP FMHE, 1.84 RR, Headers and 3" pipe to mufflers, F-body brakes, and lowered on Eibachs. -RIP AMG C400 White on black. | I don't monitor this site much anymore so I missed this thread's expansion. Sort of bored with the riv a bit but it has been reliable! The addco catalogue is garbage. It has always been riddled with errors. There were glaring errors back in the regalgs.org group buy days, and there still are now. The bar was never designed for the Riv. It was specifically made for the STS with the other G-body vehicle applications being an afterthought. Addco was made aware of the catalogue application issue multiple times over several year and did nothing. For the final time, IGNORE the Addco parts catalogue. The part numbers are 02015 and 02018 for all 95-99 rivieras. The front bars fit 95-99 rivieras. The difference between the 95-96 and 97+ bars is just the diameter. Go for the addco bars. It's a great -perhaps the best- handling mod. - charlieRobinson wrote:
- Has anyone tried an addco 2015 in the back and an F41 up front? Based on 0 firsthand experience and only what i've read here, this combo plus the STS STB is what I think I am looking for.
Front Sway Bar P/N# 25649664 = F41 sport tuned '97-2004 PAU Don't bother with the F41 front/addco rear combo. The bars will be mismatched. On p. 19 I showed the cut bars, and expanded on the increase in stiffness. The F41 is a hollow 30mm bar. The spreadsheet below should help you see why. Someone on a tight budget could benefit from getting both matched OEM STS bars (30mm hollow front, 22mm hollow rear) bars from a u-pull-it. I'm getting pretty tired of posting this kind of thing so here's a link to the G-Body (FWD) swaybar google docs spreadsheet. LMK if it works.

| Thank you, good sir. I've memorized the addco #s but it was those bushings I was looking for! Do we need new bracket/mount things for the bushings or will the ones on the car already work fine? AA, you should update your first post in this thread with all part #s so its not a treasure hunt each time. thanks! LOL theyre like 3 posts up from here. But still. Write up threads should have all part #s in first post. Everyone agree? Ok. cool. HOLY CRAP. $250+ for this bar?! AA, isn't this a pic from your install?
