I dont know for sure but if yer gonna get rid of your compressor or its toast,just cut it up and convert it to a pully.it allready has all the attachment points.should be easy.all you need is a grinder.

Because of the ECC system, no. You'd be better off repairing the A/C so your HVAC works as designed.

it locked up on me. Im lucky I had a spare one just sittin in my basement but it was old one from my other motor. This one is going bad though some days its louder than buses riding past and somedays you wouldnt even kmow it was messed up. I just need something for right now. Im not trying to put no more money on the motor because my other motor almost done with the rebuild,im just wai rting on heads and lim porting to be finished. Not tryin to pay for another ac compressor cost to much and I barely use my ac anyway

A used compressor from the salvage yard would run $35.00-75.00 around here.
