| My A/C is having some issues I think my blower control module may be bad due to the fan not running consistently sometimes it runs fine sometimes it will not come on at all and sometimes it blows very slow. Sometimes changing from auto to econ will make it speed up. So for this issue I am thinking the module but when the air works right it is ice cold but sometimes it does not cool or barely cooler then the air in the car would the blower module have anything to do with this? | |

| Bingo. Temp sensor was my hunch. Repair/replace it, see if your AC resumes normal operation. _________________ '05 GTO 6.0L • 6-spd • 95k miles • 0-60: 4.8s • 16.9 avg MPG • Nelson Ledges Lap: 1:26'95 Celica GT 2.2L • 5-spd • 165k miles • 0-60: yes'98 SC Riviera • 281k miles • 298 HP/370 TQ • 0-60: 5.79s • ET: 13.97 @ 99.28 • 4087 lb • 20.1 avg MPG • Nelson Ledges Lap: 1:30 3.4" pulley • AL104 plugs • 180º t-stat • FWI w/K&N • 1.9:1 rockers • OR pushrods • LS6 valve springs • SLP headers • ZZP fuel rails KYB GR2 struts • MaxAir shocks • Addco sway bars • UMI bushings • GM STB • Enkei 18" EV5s w/ Dunlop DZ101s • F-body calipers EBC bluestuff/Hawk HP plus • SS lines • Brembo slotted discs • DHP tuned • Aeroforce • Hidden Hitch^^^ SOLD ^^^ '70 Ninety-Eight Holiday Coupe 455cid • 116k miles^^^ SOLD ^^^ | |

| I just want to make sure I am looking at the right part we are talking about the sensor in front of the radiator that is what I thought but when I checked the parts house they had the ambiant air sensor and an a/c themp sensor but I dont think that would fault for the exterior temp. BTW I did check out my blower motor and it was bad I replaced it and the fan blows as it should but it does not always blow cold it seems to act up more when it is very hot 90 or higher.
How do I get the the climate control to show the outside temp it never has since I got the car?

How do I get the the climate control to show the outside temp it never has since I got the car? Try a different parts house, one of the discount GM parts dealers (gmpartsdirect.com for instance), any GM dealer, or RockAuto.com - the sensor is $14.73 plus shipping from RockAuto.com, an ACDelco, it's GM part number 16169194 or 25687483. It will be higher priced at a dealer but they likely will have on hand or get it to you quickly. The blower fan outage might have been a coincidence. After you fix the temp sensor then we can look at the climate control head.
