| Cleaned up under the hood a bit then decided to use this hot dry weather we never get to paint a bit under the hood and also etched in that classy riv logo on the insulator. One day at a time loving this car!! | |

| Thanks again Rick. I definitely am enjoying the simple racey/elegant black. Makes for a very cockpit feeling environment and almost adds to the fun a little bit Today we got the first real rain since I bought her and first thing tomorrow, new wiper blades. That's for certain was nearly blind today! Ahh, welcome back fall...or I guess fall, winter, and spring since they're all nearly the same haha Went to pick n pull yesterday. Been scanning their local inventories because there have been ZERO rivs for the longest time. But yesterday morning I saw a blue 95 pop up just 60mi away and off I rushed. So today I'd like to thank this brave riv that sacrificed so much so that mine could be spoiled. I got the oem speakers to replace the Kenwood crapmasters someone tossed in mine before me, the right side mirror (mine had turned golden), the power antenna, rear taillight assembly (even mine has a small crack and this one was perfect!), both front turn lights, all the zillions of little pins and buttons/trim pieces I've been missing (gonna have to find a matching paint to redo em all in), new washer fluid container, spare bulbs all around, r logo center caps, all badges, gas cap, a-pillar as test subject for gauge pod mounting, and the trunk net that all the old sales pamphlets show. From there my old man and I ended up just taking it completely apart n putting reasonably back together just to get comfortable with the innards of these. Such a great day | |

| if you want to go back get the steering column's switches (under air bag module) and maybe the turn signal switch and HVAC control head.... as long as you are collecting parts... | |

Well hopefully its all their when I go back. Whenever that will be what with work and all. Sigh... No problem - might want to look at the FAQ for high mileage Rivs on this site and see what other parts might be indicated in your scavenge. For instance, getting all the stainless wheel arches might be a good idea. Might want to look at the cradle - if it's not rusted thru it's worth serious money, those things were hydroformed and are no longer made. Might want to look at interior bits (power seat controls, the little lights in the pull handles and door latch lever wells, etc. And actually I can use the driver's door latch mechanism but can not dare to ask you for it, would be a pain to remove. You might want to get it and the pass side item for yourself though, they are also now made of unobtainium last I checked. | |

| How come you're makin so much more sense than my brain?? I really hope that poor blue riv is still mostly there when I go back. All these unobtanium parts have been eluding me! Thank you very much for helpin me out with all this know-how. Still new to the car and eager to learn. I'd really like to keep this baby goin for another 20 years or more! Here's some cheap and subtle interior additions I've done in honor of tomorrow's 50th anniversary of the Riviera. Inspired by this image of a '63's interior... Chrome trim around the shifter and basic center console pieces, the dash lining, and gauges similar to that of the '63.Hoping to eventually have real trimwork done in chrome sometime in the future as permanent replacement. For now though, this'll do nicely. Big thanks to Samuel (rivparadise) for turning me onto this and his help | |

| Got the new spectre setup in. 4" intake and the beastly 9" cone. Leaving it as is for the moment until another dry day hits to put it in the fenderwell. Going to be sealing it off in there and adding a naca duct in lieu of the scoop to really facilitate the air into there. But for now with the air being in the 30s when I'm usually driving, this'll work just fine. And I really like how the colors match up so nicely added bonus haha Just sayin, I love this new intake! I can literally feel the extra agility, which I never expected! Only downside to the riv in this area is its got so much lowend torque you almost never get to hear the blower whine! Haha! | |

| Well, rain has been hitting pretty hard here so a lot of stuff on the backburner but I just picked some plugs, seafoam, and a few other things for the fluid changes and tuneup work needing to be done. More recently I had to replace my tstat n seal due to a pretty gnarly leak. And my naca fwi/cai is getting chatted up amongst some friends to be done in the near future, until then its a pretty ugly cai fashioned out of aluminum drip pans from a weber grill But I did get one addition I enjoy (although I know I'll get flack for)...A GS emblem And two shots I just happened to like... | |

| I can help with that, behold the ravages of winter! A dirty interior under the harsh plague of an led flash! Really just showing the L67 badge on my center column. It is only visible when the cupholder is opened up and completely invisible when closed. Open, it lines up with the badge to read 'Supercharged 3.8L L67'. Believe me it looks sick when its not taken by a cell cam w/ flash at night I also recently got this neat little (color-coordinated of course ) key fob and a cool Buick Service neon clock for my man cave! And just a pic of the happy beast in this endless sub-20* weather we've been having for weeks now. Everything is cold and shrunken. Throttle body nice and smooth. Wire connections are all tight. And of course the added oomph and lower intake temps Also doin great after getting my lights switched out for new, stb added, radiator replaced, fluids changed all around, new plugs, new wires, fresh tune up and cold weather. Good times with a Buick | |

| Haha! I'll just tape it up and stand smugly by it all day Really enjoying the deep availability of info on the ROA site in combination with our site! Even found a number of local owners I had no idea about I did get my window decal on today though And also added my seatbelt pads I think they have the desired effect | |
