| Congrats! And, welcome to the best Riviera club out there! You do have a nice Riv, I too like the graphite interior, I have that same interior in my parts car that I am planning on installing into my '65 Riv. I'm sure it will take a lot of modification but what's a few more years working on it! Not sure if you have looked into the ROA much yet but the Regional Coordinator from WA is a great guy, have known him for several years! He lives in Tumwater and has an annual get together on Whidbey Island in September every year. I know they have a pretty good turnout and I'm sure they would welcome you. His contact information is inside the front dust cover of the issue you just received. Congratulations again | |

| Ah yes, the man with the desert sand (I think?) '63! His car is on the back along with a couple's 99 from marysville (35mins away!...also the nearest town haha) I'll make sure to get hold of him! I'd love to join in on a local meet up and finally see all the Rivs that have been hiding in the woodwork around here! Plus Whidbey Island-bound ferries full of Rivieras sounds like a larf to be sure. Will make sure to bring a good camera! Now just to wait til Sept And about your 95-interiored '65 plan, I'd looooooove to see that happen! In fact, I've considered the same before. I'm convinced I'm going to end up buying a 63-65 one of these days regardless and a full custom job with this plush interior would just be incredible. Of course, I'll have to await your trial to see what I'd be up against But thank you very much for the warm welcome!! Glad to start placing ties between owners across the timezones and locally | |

| Again, I know my camera sucks but hang in there. This is my new eyecandy for car shows. It's a 13" led-lit acrylic display sign of MY Riv. My plate numbers even haha. MINE It was made by Valley View Designs in Bismarck. Great guys, super hands on. And also, again, struggle through this with me, but I used the original vehicle invoice I got from the GM archives to recreate my window sticker! Took fooooooreeeeeever. Mostly because I was on my netbook using PowerPoint. Yup, only software on there to do this but I think it turned out well They both look better in person I promise. I need a new camera | |

| I finally found the real name of the dealer's window sticker...it called a Monroney Sticker...named after the Senator who pushed for legislation for true cost in advertising and mph data for the end consumer. | |

| I think I just found inpsiration for my first tatoo.
For the longest time I was looking for, or to create a very simple line drawing of the last gen Riviera similar to the Focus' line drawing in the old Fordsynch advertisements. The idea being to list the cars I've owned in order in simple line gestural drawings.
The image of the Riv in the red glowing trophy is perfect!
Problably won't happen anytime soon but the Riviera has been my ride for 10 years; first and current. It means a lot and I'm glad to have seen your pics.
Welcome! | |

| Well by all means! Use that prerendered drawing! It's taken from the first pic in my thread (first pic I ever took of the riv) and its still my favorite. Sets up the shape and proportions of the car really really well. Elegant yet sporty and powerful. You'll be the only guy with an 8th gen tat and it'd actually look great And Monroney Sticker! I knew there was a goofy name for em! And as well, thanks on the compliments. 4hours on PowerPoint paid off | |

| Haha! Well, the acrylic can be made from your favorite photo of any of your army of Rivs. Visit this page and it'll explain everything clearly http://www.valleydesignsnd.com/catalog/faq.php They offer 13 and 21 inch models with full array of options. 13" model like mine was $89.95. A pretty penny for a novelty but there's almost no novelty stuff for our cars so why not And I suppose if you'd like to slave over all the details on your own car for the monroney sticker, I could email you a copy of my PowerPoint file to use as a template. Just would have to click n edit all the text. *disclaimer* all the minute details including colors/fonts/images/layout used are specifically for the 1995 | |

| But...with a proper FWD think of the launch! Think of the snow driving! THINK OF THE CHILDREN!....um....yeah unfortunately the stock platform is fwd. HOWEVER, due to it's size you could plant it on a corvette drivetrain easy enough As it stands, putting in an L67 or a supered series iii, This thing would potentially be as speedy as it could handle! Fun car as is, just...mo pep mo bettah right?

| llamalor2112, the car looks fantastic, and you've got some excellent photos among these. Yes, I remember right where you were parked at the Puyallup Buick show. Next time, I'll make sure that we have an opportunity to meet, and I look forward to enjoying the sight of your wonderful Riviera! | |

| Absolutely! It's been a long miserable winter weatherwise and the riv is the daily so she puts up with a lot. There's not even a garage for her to live in I'll have to remedy that soon enough. Spring up here is still the same weather up here in the northsound but summer! Ah those glorious couple weeks of summer haha I'm all for taking the long cruises and enjoying her in good weather. Stereo up, windows down. Ahh...the good life. Will just need to figure the when and where and who all of meeting and make it happen! Long live the Riv! And yeah Stan, the biggest consistent to include every single year of the car has been that tail end. Always just mmmm | |
