Those would really look nice on someone's Riv and that's a great price too.

I put the same wheels on my little '73 Pinto after I dropped a V8 in it. Ah, memories. Anyway, I believe that these wheels are known as "Baby Moons," and one of the main factors for my choice was that they were inexpensive and I was broke. That said, I have no idea what they are going for now. After all, that was way back in '76. Very flashy, but with simple lines, they are a classic that has lasted over time. You could do much worse.

They should fit just fine. Is that a whitewall on it or is that the lip of the rim? If it's a whitewall get some nice blaaaaack tires.

I'm thinking about picking these up.

http://york.craigslist.org/pts/4542509377.html

I know they're a bit big but it's a good price. I'd have to see them on the car to be sure but I like them. The only downside is potential rubbing and I would have to get my pcm reprogrammed. Thoughts?

They aren't too big in diameter, imo. Need to know wheel width and offset to know if they'll fit correctly.

He pulled them off of an 03 Impala. Tire size is 225/40r18 with an offset of 8.5 in the front 9.5 in the rear. They should fit perfectly and I have a much broader selection of tires too. At $200 for the set as long as they're in good shape I'm going to grab them. I could probably resell them for more than that if I didn't want them.

great price!
I think my 18's look to be the right size for the car.

I'd go for it, at that price you could absolutely get ur money back.

F$#*!% sold the rims. We had plans to meet up on Friday and everything with cash in hand. He didn't even tell me until just now when I asked him specifically where he wanted to meet. So freaking P.O.'d right now.

Sorry for the rant, just didn't want to let anyone down who wanted to see them.

Anyone know something similar that may be better than the above and below? Looking for 17-18" black spoke wheels with a polished lip.

Thank you

Black wheels on a white car look darn good if they're the right style. I say stick with 5 spoke, and yes definitely polished lip. I like the ones in your above post better, but the wider lip like the J10's. I know it's not help, but i can't say I know of any that are like that. Hold out for them though, they'll be perfect.

Personally I think more spokes is better on larger vehicles, they also have the advantage of hiding more of the rotor & caliper if its a DD.
Opinions vary,

Happy birthday to meeeeee

18" Grand Prix GXP rims, 225 (8") tire size. They were brand new, and the only reason they're grade B is because they have little micro scratches from transporting them. The guy still has 1 set left in B grade (I saw it and it almost looks C grade) and a lot of A grade sets. I plan on wrapping them in Direzzas sometime whenever.

After a quick polish. This is the worst rim.

Matt, I'm glad that our wheel situation didn't work out. Those are honestly one of my favorite wheels of all time. Nice buy!

They look nice Matt! It's too bad you didn't stumble upon a set of the authentic Alcoas that were on the 05-07 GXPs. Id like to find a set for my winter wheels.

Meh, the only difference is the Alcoas have the allen screws in them.

From what I've read the Alcoas are forged and the 08s were cast. Still pretty much look the same though. You have the staggered set up? Or just 4 rears?
