Of all the things you have done or could do to your Riv, which one(s) do you like most, and why?

I like the CAI the most. It is the only mod I have done to the engine. It was cheap and I gained a good amount of power from it.

all i have to say is wow, its amazing how much power you can get for very little money. most N/A guys have to spend major $$ or rip their engines apart to make serious power. just the supporting mods and a 3.4" makes this car feel closer to a muscle car with soo much torque. i cant see how anyone can drive it stock.

Can I say an L32?

We'll call that a "gen V blower"... added to poll.

Series I FAQ

I prefer the FWI, but a good CAI is probably just as good.

I like the CAI because you can use a bigger filter and intake tube. You also don't have to deal with the horn getting in the way. Might not notice much difference from the first two things I mentioned, but every little bit helps.

Looks like it's off a train, but it's off my Riv. Had to make a sacrifice to fit the air filter in there.

homemade FWI and 3.4" pulley. They are by far the best bang for the buck.

I put in a mild camshaft (VS) but felt it was way too expensive (with all the stupid gaskets and stuff you have to buy) and time consuming (10 hours) for the gains it produced. Maybe the increase would be compounded with headers ?

As a somewhat new owner of a 3.6" MPS, i'm going to have to say it's been the most noticable mod so far. Very noticable torque gain from a dig, and last Saturday night, I pulled 9 psi.
