1997 blowing fuel pump fuses

Ive gone through all of the "usual suspects". Shorted wiring, pump relay, ICM, fuel pump module and cant seem to come up with an answer... blows fuse when everything above mentioned is unplugged. Trying to find a wiring diagram or someone who might know what else is on this circuit!!!!! Ive read rumors that the fuel circuit is taken over by the oil pressure switch after initial prime.. any truth to that?

Check the decal and make sure the fuel pump fuse that is Insatalled, is actually the correct amp capacity.

Pull the fuse and unplug everything again, then check the 'cold' side of the fuse position to ground with an ohmmeter. If there is a short to ground there you've got a damaged wire to look for. How are you checking for "Shorted wiring"?

I don't believe the oil pressure switch tells the PCM to start/stop the fuel pump these days. That sounds old school. I think fuel pump on/off after priming is controlled by RPM (crank position signal) but not 100% sure on that.
