Help - looking for a picture of the spare tire stuff in the trunk

I have extra spare tire accessories and stuff and I'm not positive which scissor jack I have is right and wanted to make sure I have all the right original stuff in there and in the right place. Anyone maybe wanna take a picture of this stuff for me so I can see? Thanks much!

I can tomorrow, if the 95 is the same as the 97?  I would think it would be?

Abaddon, yours is different than mine. In mine the jack stands up, almost fully lowered.

I took mine out to save weight wooooooooooooo

Abaddon's looks like mine, and most other GM spares I've seen in the last 25 years or so.

Mine is also this way! Must be a 95-96 thing!

Yep, 95 is different.  Sorry I forgot to take a photo.  I'll try to do so tonight/tomorrow and post.

So I had spare tire stuff out of my car and two others I pulled out of rivs. Only 1 of the scissor jacks was actually the right one and of course it's the one that's in shit shape and probably isn't safe to use but I didn't even know which one without a pic or how it was supposed to go in. I didn't think to extend the jack. I gotta find another one in the junkyard or somethin I guess.

Suggest yearly check tire pressure on small temporary tire in the trunk.
A few years ago while on vacation in Florida, was turning onto entry ramp of the Interstate, ran over a screw on the road, heard a pop.  While waiting for the light to change and enter the Interstate could hear air leaking from the punctured tire.  Changed direction and drove one block to a fast food place.  Within one block tire went flat.  Called AAA.  When AAA arrived went to change flat tire with factory original spare, spare tire under inflated (flat).  Thankfully AAA could add air to the spare tire.
I had all factory original spare tire and jack stuff, but after about 15 years spare tire had lost air and was flat.
I suggest you test air in spare tire once a year, and if driving an older auto get AAA.

Apologies for the delay, but here s a photo of the spare tire and jack assembly in a 1995 Riviera, which like most things in "Gen 8 Riviera Land" is completely different than the other years!      (Well, I actually don't know if the 96 is the same or not, to be fair, but.... )




You may note the odd brass hinges on the side of the plastic jack "bracket".  Those are my repairs to the very weak plastic hinge that gave way.  Hey, it works
