| Hi, I put an aftermarket deck in and I broke the clips to the top of the black long dash thing below the lip of the dash, it has about 4 or five clips, anyone know what I'm talking about and where to get these clips? | |

| I know exactly what you're talking about, and I've done the same thing. It's almost impossible to NOT break at least one. You can get them from a dealership, which is where I got mine from. Looks like they are GM Part #25612368
I can't get mine back aligned properly anyway and the black under-hang was basically just sitting in its slot propped up without any fasteners holding it in place for a LONG time. So at least for me, I didn't need any fasteners anyway!

| Yah same here expect mine makes a really annoying raddle, I might just get some of those clips to see if I can align mine back up, thanks for the part number! | |

| Has anyone looked to see if any hardware stores have these? Or even if a different type of clip can be used? Everywhere online sells them for $.50 each but then charges $10 for shipping. | |

| I used to work at Ace Hardware and we never had anything like these. We carried things like this, but nothing with a push-pin piece:

| I've seen those at home depot. I also saw push pins similar to the ones that hold the wheel well plastic in. Might pick one up and try it. | |

| Get some thick, soft foam, and put it up under the trim piece and fasten it back down. Mine rattled as well until I installed some foam. Those clips come in a 10 pack from the dealer. | |

| It doesn't really rattle much as it is. I have maybe half of the needed clips in, and half of those are partially broken. I just want brand new clips to stop it from drooping and for my own piece of mind. I'll call around to some dealers and see if they have them. | |

| go to the dealer they are pretty cheap. i order them a lot cause everytime i take my dash off at least one will be destroyed or lost. also to take them off push the center in more to release them is what the dealer told me. so instead of usually destroying one or two i just lose them now lol | |

Josh is correct, if you push the pin into the clip a little bit it releases it, then you just pull it out and reuse it. I have gotten them from the dealership before too, and they are not very expensive.

| I pushed them in further on my original dash and it just went straight through the top. Hence why I got a new dash. | |
