| Welcome Viktor. The paint on your car is spectacular. Is that typical of the quality of paintwork done in Russia? | |

| Thanks for the comments. In Russia about 20-25 Buick Riviera 8th generation. There is a forum on this car. A big problem with spare parts, there is nowhere to buy. Easier to bring a car from abroad and parse it. Some spare parts buy on ebay and rockauto. But shipping to Russia is more expensive spare parts! About my Riviera. Mileage 82000 miles. From USA houston texas in 2004. In Russia 2 owner. Use a car for trips on weekends. For travel every day using the Opel Insignia is the Buick Regal. Riviera very rare in our car, to find a good master is not easy. But it can be done) I bought spare parts to make the suspension and engine. Then the car 2 months painted. Painting at a very high level - 2 base layer, a layer of lacquer, polishing and a coat of varnish. The result on the photos. As the photos show the motor. | |

I really envy you), I have to wait and pay more for parts) Riviera very exclusive car in Russia.
Now sold only 1 car in the country. The car is in poor condition, not drives, missing many details. The person cannot contain it and therefore sells for $2000.

| My best advice for anyone outside of the US/Canada is to avoid the 95. It can be difficult even here to find all the parts for that year. The 96-99, like the one you own, have a lot more support. Just imagine how difficult it would be to find parts to fix that 95 if it's already a hassle to find them for yours | |

https://www.avito.ru/moskva/avtomobili/buick_riviera_1995_729574650 Make sure you don't have any dust trapped under the epoxy layer, and blemishes on the surface where BD Trims sat one part on top of another before the epoxy cured. I had many pieces in my BD Trims kit that were defective, and the replacements were defective too! It took months to get a complete set of good pieces. Depending on the color of your interior, you may have to painstakingly mask and paint the interior pieces before appying the dash kit. If you have a dark interior, you won't have to, but if you have a lighter interior color, paint the interior panels dark first (paint the edges that will be seen, but not the area the trim pieces need to stick to). Here's a couple useful threads for installing the dash kit - Write-Up: BD Trims and Sherwood Dash Kit InstallationWrite-Up: Riv Dash and Door RemovalGood luck! Some parts are very tricky, but worth it!

| You could post in the "parts wanted" section of the forum, and also look through the "For Sale" section to see if anyone is parting out a Riviera. Someone here will probably find it for you, although you may have to wait a while. 8th gen Rivieras are getting rare in America too. Most likely you'll have to repaint a different color part to match your interior color, but obviously that's within your abilities. | |

| I left those pieces off myself. I left off all the pieces that go on arm rests, front and back, and the piece that goes on the center console button. I think it looks a lot better without those pieces, feels better to the touch without those pieces, and there are no labels for the buttons and switches which is something I like to have.
The main thing is to be sure your pieces have a perfect finish. You can't get them off later.
BD Trims says it is easy to install a dash kit. It's easy to do a bad job of installing a dash kit, but doing a good job is a painstaking process. If you put a piece on really crooked you're going to end up shipping a replacement Riviera interior piece from America. God help you if it's the dash. I was super anal about installing my kit and I still screwed up twice. Once was the driver's side curvy triangular piece around the vents. It's a little crooked, but within what I'm willing to tolerate. The other was the big passenger side dash piece. I got stupid on that one and stuck down the perimeter instead of slowly working along from the side, which trapped air bubbles under the trim piece. I solved that problem by very very slowly and carefully drilling holes from the backside of the dash, so the air could get out. You can imagine how easy it would be to go too far and drill into the print on the back of the BD Trims piece.
