I used the Sherwood kit. It has labeling for all the switches. i found it easier to remove the dash panel and install the kit. Even so, very difficult to get it EXACTLY perfect.

Yes, at least remove the dash. You really don't want to screw up on the dash, and it would be a nightmare to appy the piece over the instrument cluster with the dash installed. I'd pull all the parts getting a trim piece though. Those triangular vent pieces on the door are tough too!
