Has anyone ever lost theirs ? I took the riv out of storage less than a month ago. I am 100% sure it was on there when I took the car out of storage. I went had to go out of town for 3 weeks and when I got back, just the R is missing. The metal frame that pivots is still there.

I've never seen one fall off and I'm wondering if someone just swiped the R.

Ive never seen one just fall out either. I took mine out once to paint the back of it and it wasnt easy to remove. Maybe someone DID swipe it.....

My 97 was missing it when I got it. Just as you describe. No idea if someone nicked it. I was going to just grab the one off the 98 to replace it.

Mine fell off. It was there when I parked at school in the morning, but it fell off when I came back eight hours later.

Mine fell off in my hands one day when I went to open the trunk with the key. I epoxied it back on but I can see how it is easily lost.
