| Tried to rewire to what I thought was right and now I see 1.3 vac all the time so must have made a sing the wire order. None of the colors line up with the connector. Will have to try again tomorrow.
Edit: looks like I rewired it correctly. Ground goes to evap, 5v on pin A, and sensor wire goes to connect as it should. Even tested a 1.5v AA battery to the signal wire and the car read -4psi as expected. So maybe the map got fried being plugged in wrong? Anyone have a used MAP sensor they want to sell? _________________ 1996 with 254k miles, L32 4" FWI -> ported N* -> Ported Gen V w/3.0" Pulley, Stage 3 Phenolic I/C, ZZP FMHE, 1.84 RR, Headers and 3" pipe to mufflers, F-body brakes, and lowered on Eibachs. -RIP AMG C400 White on black. | Got a used MAP from Morad and same thing. | do you have this info about MAP sensors?

The only *other* thing I learned is, if there is a fault in teh wiring to the MAP sensor, it will kill the sensor pretty much the moment you plug it in. Also, thinking about it, maybe the ECU is damaged. I don't know. | |

| When MAP is plugged in the voltage drops to 1.7V so explains why the PCM always sees close to 0psi. Also looks like I still have it wired wrong and maybe it was wired correctly to being with but the V drop was my problem. | Ran the 5v from my EGR plug to the map and the car is fixed. Not sure where the 5v map wire is shorted or half broken but I don't really care since I have no EGR anyways.
