Got new falken tires last week. Now, I'm hearing a rattling noise in the rear tires when driving. I checked the lug nuts and they are tight. Any ideas?

Somebody drop a weight or something inside the tire and leave it? scratch

Did someone bump a backing plate and now it's contacting the rotor? Rear backing plates, especially on older cars, can make some pretty funny noises.

Take the tire off and shake it if you think something is inside the tire. Take it back to the shop that installed the tires.

Sounds like a coincidence. A lose weight would quit rattling above a certain speed.

Check the bolts at the bottoms of the shocks.

Check the brake hoses, the e-brake cable, and the ABS wiring to the rear hubs to see if something became loose.

Sorry for the late reply. I went to a repair shop and the mechanic told me that the bottom shock bolts are the ones causing the noise. Thanks guys for the help.
